Drew Virk is the coach of the Stanford Men's Lacrosse Team and is running 2 camps this summer--Two Rivers and Stanford's Nike Lacrosse. The Stanford Men had a great season ending up at the MCLA tournament for the first time since 1982.
Coach Virk is in his 7th season as Head Coach of the Stanford men's lacrosse program. Drew has been coaching lacrosse in the Bay Area for the past 13 years and prior to taking over the Stanford program, he gained experience coaching at St. Ignatius College Preparatory, Marin Catholic High School and University High School. Drew has played at every level of the game, playing for then San Francisco Dragons in the MLL and for the San Jose Stealth in the NLL. He made a reputation for himself as one of the top face-off and defensive midfielders in lacrosse. Before his professional career, Drew played Division I lacrosse at the University of Maryland, playing in the Final Four in ‘03 and winning the ACC title in ‘04. Drew played football and lacrosse in high school at St. Ignatius, where he was named a High School All-American and captained his lacrosse team to the State Title. Drew was born and raised in Marin County, California.
What a great resource to all the Firehawks to have a born-and-raised lacrosse coach in all of our backyards! Take a look at his camps:

Another is a local camp offered at Serra HS this summer: LB3 Serra Camp will focus on the fundamental skills of the game and progress each athlete through individual, small group and team drills that are applicable at all levels of lacrosse. We will separate players by skill level to allow athlete the best chance to both develop his skills and learn in competitive situations. We maintain a safe environment for all of our players with character, sportsmanship and respect for the game at the core of everything we do. We believe working at the great game of lacrosse can and should be fun.
Our high-energy field sessions are built to keep players moving and incorporate competition that fosters a love for the game. Everyday players will learn first then drill and finally compete in some fashion whether it be full games, 7v7 or trashcan lacrosse.
We start with great facilities, we hire an outstanding staff, we train them to teach the LB3 way and we ensure that our Director is on site at every single camp session. We also always have tons of balls on the field! At LB3 Camps our goal is simple: Teach the game of lacrosse the way it was meant to be played and have a great time doing it. We hope to see you on the field.
