Amazing news! The Thompson Brothers, including the Tewaaraton Co-Award winners Lyle Thompson and Miles Thompson, and brother Jeremy, will be putting on a special clinic for our Firehawk teams on Sunday, October 26, from 9 am - 12 pm at Sequoia HS. The U13s and U15s clinic will be from 9-10:30 and the Firestarters, U9s and U11s clinic will be from 10:30-12:00. This is an extra day for Fall Ball that we didn't have previously scheduled, so I hope everyone can make it.
For those who haven't heard of the Thompsons, they are the Native American lacrosse players who have rocked the lacrosse world by breaking all of the NCAA single season scoring records. Their story of growing up on the Onondaga Indian reservation is remarkable, and they are here to tell us about the sport their ancestors invented, and demonstrate and teach their unique style of play.
