U-11 Lightning
U-11 A. The U-11 A team is for skilled, returning players, and play in the competitive "A" division. They practice two times a week, for 90 minutes each, and will play approximately 12-14 games during the season.
U-11 B. The U-11 B team is for players who prefer to focus more on skill development and equal playing time than playing competitive games (although they are also competitive). They practice two times a week, for 90 minutes each, and will play approximately 10-12 games during the season. There are no playoffs for U11B teams, but there is an end of season jamboree.
The coaches will evaluate the players in the first few weeks of practice and place the kids on the teams based on skill level. There can be some movement between the teams as the season progresses.
